Statement from Theresa Stacker on the Loss of Katina Allen - Build the Foundation

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Katina Allen, a valued member of the EarlyWell Coordinating Team and a dedicated advocate for North Carolina’s children and families.

Katina brought compassion, generosity, and a steadfast commitment to improving the lives of others. Her voice, leadership, and unwavering belief in supporting families strengthened the EarlyWell community and will be greatly missed.

On behalf of the North Carolina Early Childhood Foundation, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Katina’s sons, family, friends, and all who had the privilege of working alongside her. We are grateful for the lasting impact she made through her service and advocacy, and we honor her memory by continuing the work she cared so deeply about.
