Homeowner partner in English, Indiana, talks about life-changing build

“It’s not building just a home, but a community.”

For Makayla Parks, homeownership was something she never dreamed would be possible. Now, she and her 2-year-old daughter, Paytonn, are watching their new home take shape in English, Indiana — right next door to the first home built by our Crawford County Covenant Partner.

Local volunteers, high school building trades students and volunteers from across the country have joined forces to make it happen, with Makayla working right alongside them.
