Volunteer Your Time
The Friends of the Durham Library is an all-volunteer non-profit organization that supports the Durham County Library system. We operate Books Among Friends, which comprises both a physical location (at 3825 S Roxboro St., Durham) and an online bookstore at www.shopfodlnc.org.
Our need for volunteers is currently being (mostly) met by active members of the Friends. We sometimes need new volunteers for specific tasks, which we will identify here on this page and elsewhere (e.g., via email, Facebook, etc.). At this time, we maintain a short list of potential volunteers. If you wish to be on that list, please contact us at booksamongfriendsfodl@gmail.com.
