ABC11 Highlights Campaign Supporting Western NC Breast Cancer Patients
ABC11 reported on the growing challenges facing breast cancer patients across western North Carolina as they recover from the devastating impacts of Hurricane Helene. The story features an interview with Pretty In Pink Foundation Executive Director Becky Horn, who explains the urgent need for financial assistance as treatment costs rise and access to care becomes more difficult in storm-affected communities.
In response, Pretty In Pink launched its “Hope After the Storm” campaign — a targeted initiative providing critical funding for lifesaving treatment, including surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation, ensuring patients can continue care without financial delay.
